I came for a month and stayed for 3, southern Texas is a whole lot nicer than Minnesota in the winter. Very nice location, close enough to anywhere you want to be in southern Texas. The campground is very well maintained. I enjoyed the little barnyard animals, a catch and release fishing pond. Mike and Tina are excellent people and they can help you out with any questions about the area. I got an unexpected surprise; was able to adopt one of the dogs that they were fostering.

What a great ranch! The hosts were very welcoming and friendly! The grounds were clean and spacious. There were also several animals we could visit, and the owners allowed us to pet them. The kids really enjoyed it! Price-wise, it was really affordable, and there were showers and laundry facilities available for free. If you're looking for a quiet place not too far from town, this is the perfect place! I would definitely stay here again!

Quel super ranch! Les hôtes ont été très accueillants et amicaux! Les terrains étaient propres et grands. Il y avait aussi plusieurs animaux qu'on pouvait aller voir et les propriétaires nous permettaient de les flatter. Les enfants ont beaucoup apprécié! Niveau prix, ce n'était vraiment pas dispendieux et il y avait des douches et la buanderie à notre disposition gratuitement. Si vous voulez un endroit tranquille, pas trop loin de la ville, c'est l'endroit parfait! J'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Great amenities and the place is very well maintained. The son that helps around there was very nice to the kids showing them the animals. These guys are new at this but this place has a great location and are very friendly. Need to call for reservations but they pick up or call you back right away.

Stayed here for 2 nights on one of the spots with no hook up. Couldn't be happier! The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. Really nice pool to take a dip, and they even let us take firewood and use the washing machines for free! Couldn't recommend this place enough! (They also have a lot of very cute animals!)

We stopped in for a few days and ended up staying a month. It is a quiet country setting and the proximity to many birding parks, shopping and South Padre made it a perfect location for us. On site laundry, the pool and covered bar/sitting area are nice benefits for guests. We also enjoyed the occasional game night with Mike and Tina and the other guests. The only downfall is the lack of an on site dump station (they are working to fix that) but there is a Love's nearby. Tina and Mike are very kind, generous and attentive to campers' needs. Our hosts when we arrived but friends when we left. We hope to return.

We are a Spanish family with three children and we spent a fantastic time at the campsite. It was only three nights and it felt short. We'll try to return! Special, authentic, and safe spots for our children; an indoor pool with toys and all the amenities. We fished in the lake and enjoyed barbecues and meals in the kitchen with a dining area. The owner and staff were very attentive and helpful with all our needs. Definitely recommend it 100%.

Somos una familia española con 3 hijos y hemos pasado unos fantásticos días en el camping. Han sido 3 noches y se nos ha hecho corto, intentaremos volver! Rincones especiales, auténticos y seguros para nuestros hijos; piscina cubierta con juguetes y todas las comodidades. Hemos pescado en su lago y disfrutado de barbacoas y comida en su cocina con zona de comedor. El propietario y los trabajadores muy atentos y ayudando en todas nuestras necesidades. Definitivamente recomendable al 100%.

My husband, dog and I camped here on our way to Mexico. We felt welcomed immediately. The grounds are beautiful, a big pond, well maintained grass and campsite pads, complete with water, electricity and wood already set up in the fire ring if we wanted to use it. The laundry, is also complimentary, along with pool privileges, a bathroom with hot showers, a menagerie of farm animals and rescue dogs. The owners are kind hearted, generous and interesting. We came back on our return trip and relaxed for four days. Best camping EVER! Felt safe, welcome and relaxed. Nearby to all amenities.

Great low-key campground with friendly hosts. Offers inexpensive dry camping sites on grassy lots, as well as improved sites. Nice showers and free laundry available. Indoor pool and jacuzzi tub. Petting barn with pigs, chickens, ducks and goats. There’s a fishing pond with a pretty lighted fountain after dark.

Very nice experience for first time tent campers! Owners extremely sweet and inviting. Can't wait to go back again!

We are here for 5 days. Great place, clean and well maintained. Lots of stuff for kids to do. Very nice.

Full bathrooms with toilets and hot showers are available to all RV and tent campers, located inside the Pool House and just a short walk from your site—offering comfort and convenience during your stay.

We love welcoming RVers and campers, but all stays must be reserved in advance. We’re not able to accommodate drop‑ins, so please book ahead to secure your spot and we’ll have everything ready for your arrival!

To keep the grass green and welcoming, sprinklers run Sunday through Thursday nights.

We recommend securing any belongings or outdoor items during those evenings to keep them dry.
