(Summers can be very hot, and winters can get near freezing. Spring and Fall are very nice, But the heated indoor pool is open year round. Outdoor activities on the property include bicycling, horseshoes, volleyball, hiking, kites. Off property there is great fishing and Boca Chica and SPI beaches about 30min from the property, in fact The ranch is pretty close to all the things you would want to do in southern RGV. Progresso MX is 30 min away and most locals will tell you to go there for shopping, drinks or food.)
